Why International Fulfillment Changes the Game

Positioning inventory closer to your international customers isn't just operationally smarter — it's a competitive advantage that drives conversion and loyalty.

One Partner, Four Continents

Stop managing relationships with multiple 3PLs in different countries. CanadiEx provides a single point of contact, a unified SLA, and one consolidated invoice for your entire global fulfillment operation.

Compliance Without the Headache

International fulfillment comes with customs, import duties, VAT, CE marking, and local labeling requirements. Our in-house compliance team handles all of it — so you can sell globally without becoming a trade lawyer.

Lower Cost to Serve International Customers

Shipping from Canada to Europe on every order is expensive and slow. Positioning inventory in Amsterdam or Duisburg slashes your international shipping costs by up to 60% and cuts delivery times from 2 weeks to 2–4 days.

Unified Inventory Visibility

Real-time stock levels across all four locations in one dashboard. Set reorder alerts per node, view landed cost by market, and make inventory decisions with complete global context.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about international fulfillment with CanadiEx.

Do I need to register for VAT in each European country I sell in?
Not necessarily. Since July 2021, the EU's One Stop Shop (OSS) scheme allows non-EU sellers to register for VAT in one EU member state and cover all EU sales. Our compliance team can guide you through OSS registration and ongoing filing requirements.
How does customs clearance work for European shipments?
When your inventory ships to Amsterdam or Duisburg, it goes through a single import customs clearance event. Once cleared and in our warehouse, your goods are in the EU's free circulation — no additional customs required for intra-EU shipments.
Can I start with just Canada + one international location?
Absolutely. Many brands start with Toronto-only and add nodes as they grow. You can activate our NJ, Amsterdam, or Duisburg nodes independently without restructuring your existing Canada setup.
What carriers do you use for European last-mile delivery?
From our Amsterdam and Duisburg facilities, we work with DHL, DPD, GLS, PostNL, and Hermes depending on destination country, parcel size, and service level. We select the optimal carrier per shipment to balance cost and speed.
